BASIC INFORMATION

Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to submit your research or review papers to the 32nd International Conference Ecological Truth & Environmental Research – EcoTER 2026. The Conference will take place at Hotel Sunce, Sokobanja (Serbia), from June 24th to 26th, 2026 and will be organized by the Technical Faculty in Bor, University of Belgrade.
According to the Decision of the Faculty Council (No. VI/4-23-7б) dated 19 September 2024, the EcoTER conference will be organised biennially.
The conference aims to serve as an academic platform for bringing together researchers and industry experts to support scientific exchange and promote collaboration. The objective is to enable researchers to present, analyze, and discuss recent research outcomes and technological developments in the fields of ecology, technology, engineering, environmental protection and management, with a clear focus on their scientific significance and relevance to real-world environmental challenges.

SECTIONS
The EcoTER 2026 conference will be organized in a hybrid format, structured into several sections, including Plenary Lectures, Invited Lectures, and Oral and Poster Presentations. Authors who are unable to attend the Conference in person will have the opportunity to present their papers online via the Zoom platform within the Oral Presentation section.
To maintain the planned schedule of the Final Programme, participants are kindly requested to adhere to the following presentation time guidelines:
- Plenary lectures (30 + 10 min for Q&A)
- Invited lectures (20 + 10 min for Q&A)
- Oral presentations (10 + 5 min for Q&A)
LANGUAGE
The official language of the Conference will be English.

The 32nd International Conference Ecological Truth & Environmental Research will be held at Hotel Sunce, Sokobanja, Serbia.
Sokobanja is one of Serbia’s most renowned spas and tourist destinations, distinguished by its long tradition of health tourism, natural beauty, and cultural heritage. Nestled in Eastern Serbia and surrounded by the mountains of Rtanj, Ozren, Devica, and Bukovik, the town is characterized by a mild climate, clean air, and abundant thermal mineral springs that have been used for therapeutic purposes since Roman times. Visitors can enjoy well-maintained spa facilities, scenic parks, and promenades, as well as numerous opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and eco-tourism. Nearby attractions include the Sokograd medieval fortress, Ripaljka waterfall, and the distinctive landscape of Mount Rtanj, a symbol of the region. With its welcoming atmosphere, developed tourist infrastructure, and tranquil natural surroundings, Sokobanja provides an ideal setting for scientific conferences, combining productive work with opportunities for rest and recreation.
Sokobanja is located 52 km from Niš and approximately 220 km from the capital city of Belgrade. It is accessible from three main directions: via Aleksinac from the Belgrade – Niš highway, from the direction of Boljevac via Mount Rtanj, and from the direction of Knjaževac. INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
The paper should be written on 4 to 7 pages, including all Figures and Tables, standard A4 format (210 x 297 mm), all margins at 2.5 cm, 1.15 spacing, 3 pt paragraph after, font Times New Roman (TNR). The papers should be prepared in MS Word for Windows format (*.doc or *.docx). Please, do not enter the page numbers.
All papers should include the following parts: Type of the paper, Title of the paper, Full name, Affiliation and ORCID numbers of all authors, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement (optional), and References.
The papers should be prepared in the following way:
- The title of the paper (centred, font size 12 pt, bold, uppercase letters, max. 2 lines).
- Full names of all authors (centred, font size 12 pt, bold).
- Affiliations of all authors (centred, font size 11 pt, indicated by consecutive numbers in superscripts).
- The ORCID of all authors (provide the 16-digit numbers for all authors, centred, font size 11 pt, indicated by alphabet lower-case letters in superscripts).
- E-mail address of the corresponding author (indicated with an asterisk in footnote, separated by a comma from affiliation, font size 10 pt, italic, left-align).
- Abstract (justified, font size 11 pt, italic, up to 200 words).
- Keywords (left-aligned, font size 12 pt, three to five keywords, lowercase letters, separated by commas).
- Headings should be written in 12 pt, bold, uppercase letters, left-aligned. There should be one line space (12 pt) before all the headings.
- Subheadings should be written in 12 pt, bold, sentence case letters, left aligned.
- Sub-subheadings, if needed, should be written in 12 pt, italic, sentence case letters, left aligned.
- References should be quoted by numbers in square brackets “[1,2]” throughout the text.
- Tables should be numbered and centred. The font size for presented data should be 11 pt or less. Above the Tables, provide the captions in font size 11 pt, italic, and centred.
- Figures should be numbered and prepared in .tiff, .jpeg, or .png format. Please note the readability of the data presented in the figures. Below the Figures provide the captions, font size 11 pt, italic, centred.
TEMPLATES
Please download the template and prepare your paper according to the provided guidelines. The poster template is optional, but available if needed. Please note that the maximum size of a poster is B1 (70 x 100 cm).
SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
The papers should be submitted by filling out the registration form.
An author may submit a maximum of three papers for one regular Conference fee; however, the corresponding author must be the same for all submissions.
All papers will be reviewed and accepted for publication in the Proceedings by the Scientific Committee of the EcoTER 2026 conference.
All submitted papers will undergo metadata verification.
DOI numbers will be provided for all papers in the Proceedings.

CONFERENCE FEES
The regular Conference fee, amounting to 200 EUR (20% VAT included), is to be paid by the participants who will attend the Conference.
For the authors who will not attend the Conference and choose to present papers via the Zoom platform, the Conference fee amounts to 150 EUR (20% VAT included).
If an author is unable to attend the Conference, the accepted paper will be published upon payment of a Publication fee of 150 EUR (20% VAT included).
For PhD students, the regular Conference fee is reduced to 120 EUR (20% VAT included), for a maximum of three papers, only if a PhD student is the first author.
If a PhD student is unable to attend the Conference, the accepted paper will be published upon payment of a Publication fee of 70 EUR (20% VAT included).
The regular and PhD conference fees include: publishing of papers in the Proceedings, conference lunch, and refreshments during the Conference.
Participants are required to announce the attendance of an accompanying person at the Conference and pay the Accompanying person’s fee in the amount of 70 EUR (20% VAT included). The fee includes the conference material, conference lunch, and refreshments during the Conference.
Please note that participants paying in euros must also pay the National Bank provision on all payments.

The Organizer of the EcoTER 2026 conference cannot be held responsible for accidents involving Conference participants or the accompanying persons, for damage or loss of their personal property, as well as the expenses caused by cancellation, regardless of its cause.
Participants should make their own insurance arrangements. Please consult your local insurance agents regarding the coverage in the Republic of Serbia.

The Student Section — EcoTERS 2026 will be organized in the form of a Poster section within the 32nd International Conference Ecological Truth & Environmental Research on 25 June 2026.
The participation in the EcoTERS is free of charge for bachelor’s and master’s students and their mentors.
Please register for participation in the Student Section using theonline form.
